Happy Glampers!
"We regularly visit this peaceful and charming farm site. Hard to believe you are only minutes away from bustling market towns of Darwen and Blackburn. Great base to visit the Ribble Valley And Yorkshire Dales. Facilities are clean and the field is well maintained. Large pitches have hard standing and fabulous views across to Darwen Tower and surrounds."
"Cracking little site enjoyed the bank holiday weekend there. Great for a short stop off, clean, well kept….Angela very pleasant to meet. Will recommend to anyone"
"Stayed just one night. a lovely site with an excellent toilet and shower area which was very clean and well-maintained. Reasonably priced."

Small very well kept family orientated campsite. There is a children's play park situated right in the centre. This enables you to see your children at all times. The only downside is there is only 2 toilets and 2 showers in each of the male and female blocks. You sometimes have to queue but I suppose there is no rush anyway you are on holiday. There are small pods and larger pods available to rent. Over all we would come here again.

Our very first van camping trip. We chose somewhere quite local so only 20 miles away . Not the cheapest around but we were short notice and wanted a certain pitch etc . Easy to book through pitch website. Clear prices . Got all details in plenty of time . Gate was ANPR on arrival .parked up and plugged in no issues at all plenty of open space . Little park for the kids . Walking distance to Darwen . Toilets and showers were okay for us and clean . We didn't require any help during our stay so didn't need anything else . We probably picked the windiest and wettest weekend in the last 4 months but hey we still made the most of it . Seems others are a bit more particular about certain things . Can't complain personally all good 🙂

Very simple and basic camp/ caravan site...good clean facilities and a children's park in the middle so you can an eye on the kids while having a beer at your caravan or tent...only gripe is paying for dogs when there are no dog facilities

Lovely site overlooking the surrounding countryside. We stayed in a 4 person pod. Plenty of space both inside and out. Pods were lovely and warm with induction hob, kettle, fridge freezer.,bin, t towel, scourer and washing up liquid. Tea, coffee and milk were also supplied but we took our own coffee machine too. The firepit was a great addition. The owners allowed us to put up a gazebo inbetween the pods so we could fully embrace the outdoor atmosphere. Toilet blocks were spotless with plenty of space. Washing up facilities and toilet waste disposal were found here too. A great stay overall. Well done xxx

We stayed in the pods in the corner.Really was a home away from home.BedWife bedTVFridgeFreezerMini electric hobUnderfloor heatingYeah people will argue it's not camping, but in this day and age you need to keep people coming, and I think adding these to site was a smart move. I think you could add more, but not to a point you force out the other traditional campers.Speaking of them, there were plenty. Not quite a full site but enough to say hi to many people, and for my girls to make new friends in the playground in the middle.Shower/ toilet facilities are probably the cleanest I have seen at a campsite. And I don't think I have ever seen such well looked after grass outside of a golf course?Would highly recommend.
